1. Airport Transit Visa (Type A Visa)

In order to travel to a third country, if you need to make a transfer at Germany airport, you shouldn't go outside the international transit area and pass the passport control.

You can fly to Frankfurt / Main and Munich airports without leaving the transit area. It is possible at certain times at certain airports in Hamburg, Düsseldorf, Cologne Bonn and Berlin Tegel. Holders of diplomatic, service and official passports

If you have a valid visa or have a residence permit for any Schengen country or United Kingdom (UK), Bulgaria, Ireland, Croatia, Romania or Cyprus
If you have a valid visa or residence permit for Canada, Japan, and the United States, which guarantees that you will unconditionally accept the passport holder back
If you have valid residence permit for Andorra or San Marino, which guarantees unconditional acceptance of the passport holder (visa is not sufficient), there is an exemption from the transit transit airport.
