For your family visit visa applications in Germany, you can view the current list of documents for 2022 in below. In the case of Schengen countries, there are standard documents, which must be submitted by all who support their identity and travel purpose, as well as a list of documents varying according to the occupational and age groups of the applicant. Standard documents: Invitations, passports, biometric photographs, Germany Schengen visa application form, bank documents, bookings supporting the purpose of standard travel, travel health insurance are among the standard documents.
 

Vocational documents: Vocational documents vary according to your personal situation. If you are an employee or company owner; company's activity certificate, tax plate, photocopy of commercial registry newspaper; if you are retired; your retirement card, your retirement payroll; If you are a student or housewife, you can complete your visa to visit Germany with the income documents and other documents of the person who will cover your expenses.

Required Documents for Family Visit Visa to Germany

• Standard Documents

Invitation

The inviter should present the invation letter to  municipality in Germany to which it is affiliated.(Verpflichtungserklärung). If an official invitation to cover the costs isnt presented, a copy of the applicant's national identity, ID, residence or residence permit must be attached to the German invitation document to be written by the inviting person.

Passport

Passport should be valid for at least 3 months from the expiry date of the visa. Your passport whic is using for Germany Visa applications mustn't be older than ten years. There should be at least two blank pages. In addition to your passport, you must provide a photocopy of the page containing your passport photos and identification information and, if you have visa to the Schengen region countries, USA, UK, Ireland, Canada, Australia, Korea, Japan, New Zealand you should present their photocopy. Expired old passports must also be submitted at the time of application. In case of marriage and divorce, applications made with passports containing outdated identity information because of to change of surname arent accepted.

Copy of identity card

You must provide a photocopy of the front and back of your ID. In addition, if you have applied with your new chip ID and your new ID isnt ready for your visa application process in Germany, you must provide a temporary identification document from the registry office. You can complete your application by attaching a photocopy of your temporary identity document to your file.

Sample of full Registered Population Incidenty

An example of a full-fledged population registration is one of the documents required by the under 18s, students, housewives and other not working persons to apply for a visitation to prove their degree of kinship with their sponsoring (to cover their expences) family member. If the person is employee, self employed, employer or retiree and the inviter is a family member, a sample of the registered population should be submitted. The certificate must be obtained from the population directorates in an approved, wet signed form. The document should contain full family and sibling information and the “thoughts” section should be filled.

Attention!

All fields on the German family visit visa application form must be completed and signed in person by the applicant. Pages 3rd and 4th of the German Schengen visa application form must be signed and the application date should write. For applitions which will aplly from İzmir or Ankara, you may need to fill out their own German Schengen visa application forms of the Izmir Consulate and Embassy in Ankara. Biometric Photo

A photograph must be presented in accordance with the Schengen biometric criteria, white background, not older than 6 months, 35x45 mm in size, with a clear face. Photos that have a white background shouldnt be used on any visas on your passport before.

Bank Statement

The person applying for a German visa must submit a statement of account in his / her name. Applicants who dont have a bank account on their behalf must submit a bank account statement of the person who will cover the costs. Bank statements should be update, including the last 3 months of account transactions. Bank account statements must be provided no later than 10 days before the visa appointment date. For each applicant, the account must have a balance of at least 5,000 TL. If the application is to be made by the family, the sponsor's account must have a balance of at least 5.000 TL for each family member. Account statements provided as ATM printouts arent accepted.

• Additional Documents Supporting Financial Adequacy

You must submit some informations like title deeds, vehicle licenses, rental income, additional account statements, rental income.

Travel health insurance

You must present your travel health insurance policy with a 30.000 Euro guarantee as wet stamp and signed. Your travel health insurance must be arranged to cover your travel dates. If your travel health insurance policy doesnt have a start and end date, the start and end time is accepted as 12:00. Insurance conditions arent considered to be fulfilled on half validity days. You must therefore submit a stamp or signed insurance policy, either original or receipt, covering at least one day before and one day after your travel date.

EU / EEC member citizens and children under the age of 21 arent required to provide travel health insurance. Citizens of Germany must also provide travel insurance for their spouses and children.

Transportation Reservations

You must present your transportation reservations.

Accommodation Reservations

If you are traveling to Germany and staying in the residence address of the invite letter, the invite must indicate this in petition and include the statement of residence and all contact details of the invitation. If you are staying at the hotel during your family visit to Germany, you must provide proof of accommodation. Your accommodation reservation documents must be issued separately on behalf of each applicant. • For employees;

Employer Letter

The employer letter / permit you will obtain from your company must include your travel date range in Germany and be presented with a wet signature and stamp.

SSI Service Breakdown

This document, which you can obtain through the SSI or e-government website, should include your entire insurance history in detail. If the applicant is retired and continues to work, the applicant must provide the additional support payment's documents from SSI.

SSI Declaration of Employment

You must provide a photocopy of your employment statement from the company you work for.

Salary Payrolls

Signed payrolls for the previous 3 months must be submitted.

Business arrangement

If you arent an employee of SSI, a notarized contract of employment with the company you work with should be presented.

• For employers;

Activity Certificate / Registration of Chamber of Commerce

A copy of your activity certificate from the chamber of commerce where your company is registered must be provided for your company's activity no later than 6 months. (If you live in the provinces that are within the jurisdiction of the German Embassy in Ankara, only a copy of the chamber of commerce registry document is accepted).

Trade Registry Gazette

A legible copy of the company's title and the information that the applicant is the founder or partner of the company must be submitted in a legible register.

Chart of Current Tax Sheet

A copy of the current tax plate for the last one  year must be submitted.

Copy of Chamber Registration

For your German visa applications from Ankara, Gaziantep, Konya and the provinces attached to the Embassy, you will need to submit a copy of your company's dated chamber registration document.

• For Housewives;

If an official invitation for housewives cannot be submitted from the invitation holder in Germany, stating that costs will be met, a photocopy of the German identity card,  residence documents must be attached to the invitation petition to be written in German by the inviting person. If the invitee in Germany will be sponsored to the housewives, it is mandatory to submit a sample of the population registration proving the kinship relationship with the invite letter.

Petition

The applicant must submit a petition with a wet signed, legible return date and a warranty statement indicating that the applicant will be supported by the sponsor with a first degree kinship. The 1st degree relative to cover the expenses must submit all income documents as if applying for a visa according to their vocation group.

• For students;

Student certificate

The original student certificate must be presented from the school where the person is studying.

Petition

A petition with a wet signed, return date and warranty statement should be submitted to the applicants that they will be supported by the first degree relatives. Even the relatives who will cover the expenses must submit all income documents as if they had personally applied.
