In case you share your vocational status, travel purpose and the times you plan to travel with our authorities, we will send you the 2023 current documents list and visa fee information by email. If you send your Hungary visa application documents to our office by cargo, we will start your Hungary family visit visa procedures on your behalf.
If you have a Schengen Visa with VIS sign after September 25th 2014, in the case of the still your fingerprint information is current, you don't need to be personally during the application time. You need to just send us your application documents by cargo and we will start your transactions behalf of you. There isn't any limitation of application areas and that's why you can make your visa applications wherever you live in Turkey. If you submit the necessary documents to our office closest to your residence, we start your transactions.
Attention to Portugal, Norway, Slovenia visa applicants!
The Consulate of Hungary accepts visa applications for Portugal, Norway and Slovenia as a consular consulate for visa applications from Istanbul. If your application is positive, your visa will be Hungary, not Portugal, Norway, Slovenia.
The passport must be taken within the last 10 years, valid for at least 3 months after the travel's end date. There must be at least 2 blank pages in your passport in order to process your visas. Schengen visa pages, which have been taken in the last 3 years on your old passport, should be photocopied. For foreign citizens residing in Turkey must have legal residence permits which are valid for travel after 2 months in Hungary.
In case of any changes in your identity (surname changed by marriage or divorce, etc.), you should ensure that the information in your passport matches the information available on your identity. Your visa application may not be processed if your information doesn't match.
The applicant's relative (who lives in Hungary) must submit a petition addressed to the Hungary Consulate. The invitation should specify the purpose of the visit and the dates of the visit and the names and the degree of closeness of the person invited. If people going to stay at home, the address of residence should include. The identity card's photocopy, passport and visa photocopy, lease contract or title deed must be added to the invitation. 2 copies of the invitations are enough for you to apply. Consulates accept invitations by e-mail or fax. In official invitations, you should always keep the original invitation with you. For official invitations, the original invitation must be with you at the time of application.
If the travel expenses of the applicant are covered by the mother, father or a third party, the sponsor must write a petition stating that they will cover all expenses during the travel. The petition, the working and income earning documents of the person covering the expenses and the bank account must be attached to the file.
All parts of the application form must be completed fully. Article 37 and the signature section on the last page should be signed by the passport holder and the e-mail address and home address should be written in Article 17. The mobile phone number written on the visa application form must belong to the applicant and must be written correctly. If you are called by the Hungary Consulate during your application process, it is important that the information you provide is accurate so that you can be contacted.
You can fill out the Hungary Schengen visa application form with a black and blue pen or print it out on the computer. If the applicant is under the age of 18, his or her guardian or parents may sign it. Each applicant must complete the application form individually.
Two biometric photographs taken in the last 6 months, looking at the camera, with the face clearly visible, are required. The photo background should be white and 35x45.
The last 3 months statement should be taken at least one week before the visa application date. Personal or company bank account statement must be signed and stamped. Even if you have received your bank statement from the internet, it must be signed and stamped by the bank.
You must have a balance of at least 5,000 TL per person for your family visits to Hungary.
You must submit documents proving that you have the power to finance your travel into your application documents. If another person finances your trip on your behalf, the sponsor must submit a petition that the travel sponsor will bear the costs. The working and income documents of the sponsor, together with the petition, should be attached to the file of the bank account.
You must add a photocopy of your ID card with your T.C ID number on your application file.
It is available on the e-government website with your family information and a barcode.
For Employees
It must be signed by the company officials, stamped and belong to the last 3 months.
It must be given by the employer in a barcoded manner. The document must be update.
It must have been obtained from the SSI Directorates in barcoded.
The employee must take it from the company where he /she works. Authorization letter printed on letterhead should be signed and stamped by the authorities of the company. The declared leave letter must state that the person working on the journey will be on leave between the dates of travel, the purpose of the trip and the travel dates. The petition can be written in English, Turkish or Hungarian.
For Employers
It must be stamped and signed on the company's letterhead with the travel dates specified.
It must be signed by the company officials and must belong to the last 3 months.
It should be obtained from the SGK Directorates with barcode, seal and signature. Applications can be made with a high balance company bank account. The account must have enough balance to cover travel costs.
The activity certificate is obtained from the room where the company is registered and must be up to date.
The trade registry gazette, company title, founders and shareholders must be clearly stated.
Signature circular, signature of the person authorized by the company or proxy
Additional income documents such as vehicle and title deeds, rent income (if any) must be declared.
Students
The person must receive from the institution where he / she is studying. It should approved, stamped and signed. It is also available on the e-government website.
Farmers
The certificate of the farmer issued by the registered chamber of agriculture, the vehicle and title deeds, if any, and the information of the animals must be declared.
Retirees
You can get a retiring certificate with your e-government password. You can also submit a certified document from the bank account where your retirement is processed.
Freelance Staff
Freelancers can get a letter from a company or offer a portfolio. If there are projects in which income information is included with the documents, it should be declared. If insurance payments are made, an insurance service statement with barcode must be obtained from e-government.
Lawyer, Engineer, Pharmacist, Doctor, Foundation University Staff
If there are rooms you are connected to, you should take a letter from these rooms and declare your income documents with your work ID card.
Persons Under 18 Age
For each applicant, the form must be filled in, and if the person is under age of 18, the signature must be signed by the parent or guardian. If a person under the age of 18 is traveling with one of the parents or is traveling with another person apart from the parent, a notarized consent must be obtained to confirm that the child's travel has been approved. The photocopy of the child's identity must be attached to the file. Consent must not be received within the last 3 months and doesn't apply to previously received ones.
You must have reservations or proof of purchase (bus, plane, train tickets) for your preferred means of transport. If you are planning to travel to more than one country, you must write a petition explaining all the intermediate passes and submit the transportation documents to be used in these passes with your petition.
Applicants planning a trip with their own vehicle must include vehicle insurance, green insurance and driving license. If the owner of the vehicle and the person to be traveling aren't the same, a notary power of attorney should be obtained from the vehicle owner, stating that the usage rights belong to the traveling passenger.
Your travel plan must be booked without any missing days. If you plan to travel to more than one country, you must have booked your accommodation so that there shouldn’t any empty days during your trip. Accommodation reservations must include the name of the traveling applicant. Again, if you request accommodation reservations are made on your behalf.
When traveling to Schengen countries, you will need to have a guaranteed travel health insurance of 30,000 euro covering the minimum expected residence time.
Hungary commercial visa applications are finalized 2 days before your travel date if your documents are complete. This period is valid for Hungary Schengen visas. This time for the foreign people living in Turkey can be longer. This period may change depending on the intensity of the Consulate of Hungary. If you intend to move to other countries on your planned trip, you must clearly state this in a petition. In your petition, you should include your preferred transportation documents in your file during your intermediate journey. If the applicant has less than 15 days to travel, visa applications may not be accepted except in exceptional cases. The only competent authority for the completion of the Hungary commercial visa is the Consulate of Hungary.
